About us

Raisonne.ai publishes field notes on artificial intelligence research, undertaken by R. Wolfson and others, seeking to understand the values, reasoning, and blind spots of large language models.

The posts are not advocacy, not journalism, and not research in any academic sense. They are attempts to ask specific questions about AI systems — what they prefer, what they refuse, what they accidentally commit themselves to when pressed — and to write the answers down with the care those questions deserve.

The name borrows from catalogue raisonné, the exhaustive scholarly inventory of an artist’s work. We aren’t aiming for completeness. We liked the implication of systematic attention — the assumption that if something is worth looking at, it is worth looking at carefully.

What matters here is whether the reasoning holds up, not who is doing it. If you disagree with us, say so: hello@raisonne.ai. We read everything. We reply selectively.
